The world,
slightly sideways.

An office becomes a ship in rough seas. Graduates pass through a machine. A speaker steps up to the podium wearing boxing gloves. In these drawings, a familiar situation turns into a visual surprise.

These twenty works were selected from the drawing pages of Trenc’s original website. They bring together hand-drawn scenes, photographic fragments and visual metaphors about working life, public life and the individual’s place in a crowd.
