A piggy bank escapes into a world of shop windows, crowds and fairground lights. The Big Time brings Trenc’s drawn imagination into animation, following its small protagonist through a city full of promises and traps.
The 2005 retrospective dates the film to 1990. This selection presents a cropped poster detail and two catalogue pages labelled as storyboard material. The pages reproduce sequences of colour frames; they are archival reproductions, not a playable film.
